Miss Wrigley Taylor

Our latest news, is that we are going to be adding to the Taylor family! We are getting a puppy :) She is a black cockapoo (cocker spaniel & poodle combo). Her name will be Wrigley, after Brent's love of the Cubs! We are very excited to pick up this cutie! We will be picking her up at the end of October.

Ryan & Katie Thurman!

Last weekend, Ryan & Katie got married in Lawrence :) We celebrated Friday night with a rehearsal dinner at their house. The next day we prayed that it wouldn't rain on the ceremony! Luckily, they were able to hold it outside on the terrace at the Oread Hotel (what a beautiful place!). Katie, of course, looked so beautiful! (& my bro looked handsome, as well!)

We had a great weekend! Great to see a lot of family & celebrate with Ryan & Katie! Katie, welcome to the Thurman family! Sorry, you're stuck with us now :)

BT's Bday!

We celebrated Brent's birthday (big 29!) with some Oklahoma Joes BBQ & some Dairy Queen. Nothing too exciting, he's been working his tail off lately, so just a nice laid back birthday :)

Helllloooo Sleepy Seven!

We headed to Green Mountain Falls and the new "Sleepy Seven" family cabin for Labor Day, with our KC friends, Matt & Antoinette. The cabin was SO beautiful! pictures don't even do it justice. The family really did this right! it has all the bells & whistles, & more. We will definintely be headed out to Colorado as much as possible :)

We started off the vacation with river rafting down the Arkansas River, through the Royal Gorge; catching a Sky Sox baseball game (well at least 6 innings before a thunderstorm hit); watching the Nebraska football game at the small-town bar; hiking up to the Green Mountain "Falls" and around Rampart Reservoir; eating the Pantry breakfast twice; and plenty of time hanging out at the cabin, grilling & sitting by the fire pit :)

 It was a quick trip, but well worth it!
