2 weeks to go!

Memorial Day was a perfect break in our Wedding Chaos lately! I was lucky enough to have a 4 day weekend :) I got LOTS of wedding things done on Friday, then we headed to Lawrence to catch up with Ryan & Katie, where we had some good times on Mass St. :)
Then, we headed to Manhattan for my friend Shauna's wedding & a little trip around college memory lane & Aggieville :) I'm glad I got to show Brent around town - so he could see something other that just the football stadium!

Then, we had a relaxing Sunday & Monday, golfing, going to the pool, the Brune's BBQ, & enjoying the perfect Patio Weather too!

12 days to go! I met with our cake lady today - finalized those plans. Up next....hmmmm, NOT much! Now, I can just relax & soak it all in :)

BBQ Weekend

We had another great weekend, as we inch closer to THE BIG DAY!!! My parents came to town on Thursday, On Friday we ran a few wedding errands, dad got some new wedding clothes, and we had dinner with our Host Couples: Brad & Linda Hart (my parents met them as newlyweds in Great Bend, our families have spend many great times together tailgating and watching Kstate sports) & Joe & Shelley Riha (my mom's sister & her husband. My mom was actually 8mo pregnant with me at their wedding - so I was the "Flowergirl")
Then, on to the Couples BBQ - great times with a lot of our family & friends! We are so lucky to have such great people in our lives!

18 days to go! Next up, working on Songs for the Reception, & figuring out the seating chart!

Last Nights of Singlehood!

Last weekend we both celebrated our Bachelor & Bachelorette Parties! Brent headed to New Orleans with a mix of Alliance/Nebraska/Kansas City friends. Needless to say I think they had a good time. I didn't hear too many stories but I did see a video of Brent riding a mechanical bull.....& the Pink Boa, wow I'm at a loss for words :)
The girls treated me to a night at the Plaza here in Kansas City! Good food, good drinks, & a great time with great friends :) Some of the highlights: the green Mankini, Proud to be an American, learning some "Julio" dance moves for the wedding, running around with a Kate Middleton stick head (or so we thought....), and plenty of my Fav - Bud Light Lime!

Yes, that's the Mankini - & No, you don't want to ask!

Here's to my 2 future Sister-In-Laws! Yay for TWO awesome sisters!!! :)

Up next, finishing the Ceremony programs, hunting down people who didn't RSVP, & enjoying a weekend with family & our KC friends at our Couples BBQ! :) Look out Bud Light Lime!

1 month to go!

We celebrated last weekend in Overland Park at the wedding of our friends Kate & Tyler. Brent knew Kate from college at Nebraska, & Tyler was in my brother Ryan's fraternity at K-state. So it's nice to hang out with another K-state/Nebraska couple :) except....Kate actually wears purple, something I have yet to see Brent do.......maybe once we're married (hopefully!)

The wedding was a lot of fun - they had dueling pianos. Great times!

& Bachelorette Party in Kansas City - plaza. Sarah (Brent's sister) is flying in from L.A! I'm excited to spend the weekend with my girls :)

Cinco de Mayo!

Happy Cinco de Mayo! It rained most of the day yesterday - then the sun came out after work - & we saw this beautiful rainbow in our back yard :) So, we decided we better go grab a few margaritas & some chips & salsa!

36 days to go!
We're going to a Wedding tomorrow in Kansas City, should be fun with some of Brent's college friends all in town! & We're meeting with the organist for our Ceremony music on Sunday :)

Frat House For Sale

It's the end of an Era.....the Frat House is up For Sale on the Kansas City Market. Lots of great times there! After living there for 4 years, I know Brent is a little sad, but it's time for the 4 of them to move on. The boys have been spending lots of time (& $$) fixing up the place. The place looks so great! It doesn't look like a Frat house any more! Hopefully it sells quickly :)

41 days to go! Yesterday, we met with Father Jerry & finished up all our Ceremony plans. Next up, finalizing flowers, & meeting with our Organist to pick Ceremony songs.
