Ryan's Bachelor Party

We had a quick weekend visit from the folks, & Ryan & Katie.

The boys spent Saturday celebrating Ryan's Bachelor party, golfing & shananagins....

Katie had her last wedding dress fitting, she looks so great!

& I managed to finish 20 miles, with mom biking beside/behind me, it got a little ugly at the end.  Wow....26.2 miles are going to be long!

Weddings, & Showers, & Parties, oh my!

We've had a busy summer, not only planning/celebrating our OWN wedding, but attending & celebrating other friends weddings. This including multiple showers, bachelor/bachelorette parties, couples showers, & the fun weddings! It seems like we have something every weekend - wedding related!

To catch up on our lives recently.....Ryan & Katie's wedding is inching closer! We threw a fun couples party for them. Her parents made the trek from Wisconsin! Very nice to meet them!

Then, onto to Dan & Katey's wedding in Omaha. They are our neighbors that live a few houses away, so we spend LOTS of time with them! I'm sure Brent would live in Dan's man cave watching Nebraska football all day, if I let him! :)

But, we had such FUN & amazing weekend at their wedding! Lots of great times with great friends! & Katey was an absolutely beautiful bride!

It's been a great year celebrating with everybody, but I'm kind of hoping for a "slow" wedding season next year!

2 of our Favorite Wedding Gifts!

We loved all of our wedding gifts! Of course, it's fun getting new stuff :) But, 2 of them were not your typical wedding gifts........

We got a Bill Snyder autographed football from one of Brent's friends (who's Grandpa grew up with Bill in St. Joe, Missouri), & a Bo Pelini signed football from one of Brent's friends (who's dad is friends with Bo, & also runs one of his fundraising groups). Great additions to the future Man Cave! :)

Wedding Pics with Grandpa Jim!

We make a quick trip to Great Bend last weekend. My Grandpa Jim, unfortunately, could not make it to our wedding in June. They discovered bladder cancer in February this year, & he's been through lots of chemo & radiation treatments. I was sad he couldn't be there with us, but I knew he would've been there, if he could have. Soooo, I really wanted a few pictures of him with us! And, it gave me a chance to wear my wedding dress again!

And........it put mom & I in the mood, for a little dress up! We decided to dig her wedding dress out of the box! (It hasn't seen daylight since 1978!) We had tons of fun :)

 We had a great weekend relaxing in good ol' GB! Great time with the fam, a little time with Grandpa Jim, & I got to catch up with Krug & Ki (& Owen & Dex!).
