Great Birthday Weekend

We've been on the road traveling quite a bit lately, seems like our bags have been permanently packed, so why not go to the Ozarks for a fun weekend with friends, and a little lake time on the ol' Birthday.

I had lunch with Linds on her birthday, so we could celebrate together again :) Wish I could've spend more time seeing her, since she's moved to Chicago! But, we were off to the Ozarks!

Great weekend at the Ozarks & a great way to ring in "32" with the friends. I'm hoping 32 will be a great year, full of good times with friends & family :)

My Sweet Grandma Betty

My sweet Grandma Betty passed away Sunday, July 15, 2012.  She lived a long life of 88 years, with lots of summers at the lake, winters in Texas, and lots of good of times with her family and friends. Grandma always had a sweet smile on her face, and the cutest laugh. She and Grandpa Bud would've been married 67 years on August 8th.

I feel very lucky to have had Grandma Betty in so many memories. Graduations, our wedding, many Thanksgivings while they were headed to Texas, and weeks in the summer that we would spend with Grandma & Grandpa.

1 year Anniversary!

We celebrated our first wedding anniversary on a Monday night. We got our top layer of our wedding cake out of the freezer & had a nice little night :)
