Sorry for all the pictures, but we have a million, and it was hard to pick just a few!
I woke up Wednesday, April 10th, around 4:00am, having some weird cramping, and after watching the clock, they seemed to be coming every 3-5 minutes. I smacked Brent, saying I thought something was going on, he was totally not prepared....thinking babytime would be the next week. I got up, showered & got ready, letting these contractions go for awhile, then called the dr. He said to go to the hospital!
**And, I have to add, my husband had to drive through Dunkin Doughnuts for a coffee, on the way to the hospital! I didn't fight it too much, because I figured I needed an alert daddy! :)

We got to the Hospital about 7am, and I was dilated to a 5-6cm already. We hung out for a little while, I got the epidural (which honestly was the worst part of the whole thing....they couldn't get the needle in the right area), we waited on the nurses (delivering down the hallway) & the doctor (delivering at another hospital), and I pushed for 18 minutes, and out came our little BOY at 2:03pm!
He was 8lbs 0.1 oz, 19 1/4" long, Head was 13" around. Hair: medium brown, light eyebrows/eyelashes. Eyes: blue-grey. And, he has really big hands!
I was very surprised, he was a boy, I was really thinking it would be a girl, and I was ready to decorate everything purple! The baby came out, and we both went "what is it???" .....They turned him toward us, and it was obvious! But, I was so ecstatic, he was healthy! They laid him on me, and he squeezed my finger with his little hand. Connor James had arrived :)

We had a few pretty sleepless nights right off the bat, but he is eating well, and sleeping pretty darn good for a newborn. We are figuring out how get the schedule down of diapers, feedings, and sleep. We are loving every minute with him, and I can't seem to put him down, he is just so easy to love and cuddle :)
