1st Father's Day!

We visited Daddy at work & had lunch with him!

 

Then, met up with Uncle Ry, Katie, and Grady!



 We bought him a round of golf, hopefully he has time to use it soon!

2 months old & a 2 Year Anniversary!

June has been another busy month....

The GB girls threw Connor a little Saturday afternoon BBQ/shower, which was awesome to see everybody! 9 friends + spouses + 11 1/2 kiddos!

 

 

Connor is smiling all the time!!! He's a happy boy! He recognizes Brent and I now, and instantly smiles :)

 

Our little man is 2 MONTHS old! He is getting chunkier & longer! Not sure who he looks like, most people say Brent! But, I see some Thurman in there, too!

 

 And, Happy 2nd Anniversary to my wonderful Hubby! It's a little more chaotic this year! for the better! I can't imagine our lives without Connor now!

Connor also got some Gma Mary & Gpa Craig time in!

 

I also went back to work on June 10th. Which was good...a few tears but I made it. I'm glad to be back with my work family & seeing patients again! I was ready for some adult conversations! But at the end of the day, I am ready to hug my little boy!

May travels

May seems to have flown by! I've gotten lots of Connor/Mommy time at home, and he is changing by the day. Brent and I looked at each other the other day, and thought "we don't have a newborn anymore!" He getting pretty big, getting chunky, and giving smiles all the time. It just melts my heart! He's not sleeping through the night, but we have some stretches of 4-6 hours, most nights that gives me some sanity.

6 weeks old!

 

Last minute trip idea, we decided to take our 6 week old son to the cabin in Colorado.....I needed a little change in scenery! First brief stop was to GB, to meet G-Gpa Jim.

Then, onto Sleepy Seven! We hiked to the Falls everyday, ate at the Pantry twice; my usual must-do things :)

We had a great time out in GMF with Gpa Craig & Gma Mary! However, the drive all the way back to KC was not the most enjoyable....multiple stops, and complete meltdown the last hour....we were glad to be home!

 

My first vacation as a baby was to the cabin. I'm glad Connor's first trip was there, too! Great family memories :)
