Nutcracker Time

My mom was up for a little Christmas shopping, so we through in a little Nutcracker Ballet at the new (& beautiful) Kauffman Center of Performing Arts.  Brent even went too, and no I did not make  him, we were fully expecting him NOT to go :) But, he wanted to check out the new monstrosity of a building in downtown KC.

We had a Groupon to Cafe Trio at the Plaza (the place where we went to dinner right before Brent proposed :) We haven't been there since March of 2010! We had a fun dinner out & took a walk by our fountain :)

Halloween 2012

We had a nice little Halloween Wednesday. Wrigley put on her bumblebee costume, I attempted to take pictures of her, I made Brent watch the movie Hocus Pocus, and we had a few trick-or-treaters :)

Nebraska Weekend

We headed to Lincoln last weekend, for our Husker game of the year. We had a lot of people to see in a short couple of days, and we wanted to spend a lot of time with Brent's parents, too.  Great weekend seeing everybody! Lots of red, dinner at Lazlo's, time at the Embassy, Haymarket tailgating, an amazing behind-the-scenes tour of the Husker locker room/coaches & players areas, and even a Husker win over Michigan!

Denis & Brandi's Wedding

As our 2012 weddings are winding down, last weekend we went to my dental school friend Brandi's wedding in KC. Sooooo happy for her! that she found her guy! :)

We had a great time, even though Brent and a bunch of the guys spent half the reception across the street at the bar watching the not-so-great Nebraska game :( But, it was really good seeing a lot of my good friends from dental school! :)

Marco Island Wedding! Linds + Keith!

 

Last Thursday, we flew to Marco Island for Linds & Keith's wedding! What a beautiful place, sorry for all the pictures, but it was such a fun & gorgeous place!

 The wedding was supposed to be at 6:00pm, but a big rainstorm came through....so we found the beach bar to wait it out :) Once the rain broke, it was definitely worth the wait! They had the most beautiful sunset, clouds, and even a rainbow. I'm sure their pictures will be ridiculous amazing!

Goodbye Marco Island, we had so much fun! Brent and I had such an amazing time, we decided if we get invited to any other destination weddings, we will HAVE TO go! :) Nothing like being on vacation with a ton of your friends :)

Happy 30th Birthday to my hubby! He's finally in the 3-O category! :) He had a pretty laid back Thursday with some golfing in the rain and a little DQ cake!

 

 

AND, Brent can stop saying how good it is to be in his "20's"!!! :)
